Tokyo Talk Club
Character-led Japanese learning, in motion.
A channel built to move.
I shaped Tokyo Talk Club as a repeatable system for Japanese learning: one host character, bilingual graphics and motion that makes each challenge easy to follow. The same visual language carries from eight-minute quizzes to ten-second Shorts.
Quick lessons. Built for the scroll.
Portrait challenges keep the question, countdown and reveal inside one stable frame. Select a Short to play it in place.
More room to learn.
A full 20-question JLPT N5 episode brings the channel system into a longer rhythm, with the same host, countdown and reveal structure.
One system, two viewing habits.
The episode and Shorts share a recognisable visual grammar without forcing different formats into the same frame.
Tokyo Talk Club outro
The outro is part of the system.
Press play and the quiet player wakes into the finished apartment scene. The real soundtrack, character loop and progress bar move together.
A learning world with somewhere to be.
Everyday Tokyo details give the lessons a sense of place. Quiet frames and warmer scene-setting keep the character-led system human between faster motion beats.

One host. Many jobs.
The character anchors the channel across the avatar, title graphics, thumbnails, Shorts and end screens. The container stays still while the artwork carries the energy.

A small palette with a lot of movement.
Soft colour carries the character and motion states. The page around it stays warm, neutral and quiet.
